The judges
decision is final.
Any objections must be brought to the organiser's attention on the day of
competition. Formal objections should be lodged with the secretary within 30
minutes of the incident.
The organisers of these events
have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of
everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must themselves
take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and
must obey the instructions of the organisers / officials.
Great Bookham Equestrian Centre,
the organisers, their representatives or helpers do not accept liability for
injury, damage or loss suffered by spectators, competitors, their horses,
grooms, friends, vehicles or property however caused and under any circumstances
except proven negligence of the organisers. Claims for negligence against the
organisers must be submitted in writing on the day of competition.
Hard hats
Correctly fitting riding hat
complying with current safety standards, and safe footwear must be worn
whilst mounted. Body protectors must be worn for cross country and are
strongly recommended for show jumping.
Horses must be 4 years old or
over to be eligible to compete in ridden classes. Animals deemed to be sick or
lame will not be allowed to compete or be ridden on the showground and a refund
will not be given.
Correct entry fee must
be received to be eligible to compete/participate.
Prize money stated in the
schedule is given at a rate of 1 prize per 5 competitors. In the event of
insufficient entries some prizes will be withheld. Additional prizes to those
stated in the schedule are added at the organiser's and sponsor's discretion.
Competitors withdrawing
will not be eligible for a refund of entry fees without a vet's or doctor's
certificate.
The organisers reserve the right
to cancel or alter any part or the whole of the schedule at any time.
Bad weather-If conditions are
poor it is the responsibility of competitors to confirm that events are running
by ringing 01372 451458 or 07957 224205 the evening before or morning of each
competition. Sorry, we cannot ring round all competitors individually. In the
event of a competition being cancelled, entry fees, minus a small administration
charge will be returned to competitors.
It is the
responsibility of all participants to clear up their rubbish and debris and
leave the showground fit for grazing. Please do not leave your rubbish
behind on the showground.
All dogs must be
kept on a lead at all times.
Owners who allow their dogs to run loose on the showground will be required to
remove them from the premises immediately.
