Qualifiers 2015


All classes are open, any horse & rider combination may compete and will be eligible for placings and prizes. Restrictions only apply to qualification for Championships.


Sunshine Tour:  held at Hickstead Showground on 18 & 20 September 2015. Dressage from Intro to Elementary. 1st-6thqualifies. See for details.
Romeo Championships:
Popular dressage points championships series, sponsored by Attlees Country Store. Championship awards for Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Junior Rider (16 years & under on 30th September 2015), Veteran Horse (15 years and over) & Ex-Racehorse. Winners are awarded perpetual trophy & sash, plus other prizes presented by Attlees Country Store. Points awarded 1st-6th in all GBEC dressage competitions. Awards presented at Autumn Show on 6 September 2015. 

To be eligible to acquire points: Intro and Prelim: Horses not to have any BD points and not to be competing at BE Novice level or above. Novice: less than 20 BD points. Elementary: less than 40 BD points. All: BD Riders in Group 1 - 6 or professional riders not eligible.

South East Region Championships held at Hickstead showground on 23 & 24 May 2015 for Prelim, Novice & Elementary. Prelim: Horse must have less than 20 BD points. Riders in Group 1 - 5  only eligible for Elementary championships. 1st & 2nd qualifies. Qualifiers held in April qualify for 2014 champs, those held after 1st June qualify for 2015.

Veteran Horse Society Dressage Championships held at Bury Farm, Bucks 25-27 September 2015. Three highest placed veteran horses/ponies with score of 60% or more in Intro, Prelim, and Novice classes qualify for the championships.



Sunshine Tour: Championships held at Hickstead Showground on 18 & 20 September 2015. Show jumping championships from 50cm -1m, 1st-6th qualifies. See for further details. 

Pure Technology Show Jumping Series  Points awarded 1st-6th in classes 70cm - 1m (except for Accumulator/ Scurry/ Horse&Hound). Championship prizes presented by Pure Technology at GBEC Autumn Show on 6 September 2015.  For up-to-date points leagues tables and T&C’s see

Championships of Great Britain These fun weekends of show jumping championships for both juniors and seniors take place between 14 - 16 August 2015 for seniors and 29 - 31 August 2015 for juniors at Wales and West Centre. Double clears qualify. See for further details.



Equifest Shows at GBEC are affiliated to Equifest, championships held at East of England Showground on 12-16 August 2015. 1st & 2nd placed (not already qualified) in specified classes qualify.

Veteran Horse Society Showing Qualifiers held for VHS Supreme Championships at Bury Farm, Bucks 25-27 September 2015.  

Senior Showing Highest placed exhibit in each Area Qualifier class goes forward to Regional Qualifier. Highest placed Regional exhibit qualifies for Olympia 2015.

Ponies UK 1st 2nd & 3rd in each qualifying class will qualify for the P(UK) Winter Classic & P(UK) Supreme Championships on 24-26 July 2015 at Bury Farm, Buckinghamshire.

The Showing Register 1st & 2nd placed exhibitors in selected showing classes qualify for the TSR Regional Championships. May Showing Show includes TSR talent spotting for Master Class at HOYS.

Chiltern & Thames Rider Summer Championships held at Herts County Showground in September for showing and show jumping and Patchetts Equestrian Centre, Herts in October for dressage.
