Livery at GBEC

Surrounded by Norbury Park, Ranmore Common and Polesden Lacey, Great Bookham Equestrian Centre is a professionally run livery yard catering for all needs and budgets.

We have a dedicated team of staff who will get to know your horses every need. If you opt for full or part livery you will get your own personal groom who will look after your horse and tailor your horses care to meet their specific needs.

We have access to off-road hacking as well as an indoor school, 20×40 rubber and 20×60 sand arena. Throughout the year we hold various clinics and events as well as our own shows and qualifiers (including Sunshine Tour, VHS, CHAPS and Equifest) run during the show season.

We also have the GBEC Riding Club which holds numerous social, educational and riding activities for everyone to enjoy.

Full and Part

With both part and full livery, you will get your own personal groom who will get to know your horse personally and be a point of contact to discuss the needs of your horse. He/she will be mucked out fed and hayed, rugged appropriately and feet picked out every day. If you were to opt for full livery, we provide a daily groom and exercising to meet your horses need and regular tack cleaning. However, if you want to go for part livery but need a hand here and there we can offer individual grooming and exercising upon request at an extra cost.

DIY

As a DIY livery, you will get your own stable and field as well as storage area for feed, hay, bedding and tack. However, DIY at GBEC doesn’t mean you have to do it all yourself, we offer assisted DIY where we can help with turning out/ bringing in, mucking out, feeding, haying and finishing up where needed, all you have to do is ask.

Grass

We offer grass livery where your horse will not be forgotten about, we check our grass liveries daily on our well maintained and free draining fields. If you can’t get down or you are away, we can give you a hand with changing rugs, feeding, picking out feet as well as bringing in and turning back out when needed.
